Project Overview

Pure Power USA manufactures high-output alternators for a range of automotive and performance applications. Their product line includes dozens of pulley variations and a signature 6.5″ billet housing on their 400-amp models. To maintain a high-end and professional finish, they needed a laser engraving partner capable of adapting to diverse part geometries and materials, all without sacrificing speed or durability.

Tucson Alternator Exchange / Pure Power USA are leaders in the automotive performance and power systems market. They specialize in high-output alternators and custom pulleys for a wide variety of vehicle applications, serving both retail customers and private-label B2B clients. Known for their engineering innovation, including billet aluminum housings and black oxide–coated steel pulleys, they deliver high quality, reliable, durable, made in the USA products for discriminating customers across the country.

Engraving Challenge

Pure Power’s branding requirements were twofold:

Clean, consistent, high-contrast laser markings across steel and anodized aluminum. 
Rapid adaptability to evolving product designs and surface finishes for both Pure Power and their private-label partners.

OUR LASER ENGRAVING APPROACH

To meet the client’s needs, our team developed custom workflows and engineered dedicated fixturing solutions for each pulley model and billet housing. This minimized setup time while ensuring repeatable accuracy and alignment. We used galvo fiber laser systems in conjunction with custom-built tooling, optimizing contrast and precision on both black oxide steel and anodized aluminum components.
