Meet the Team

After retiring from the military, Jeff moved to Tucson in 2003 with his wife, Meredith. While working as a military support contractor maintenance test pilot, and instructor—and with Meredith serving as a Law Enforcement Officer—they founded LEO Armory with a mission to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer service. What started as a company focused on firearms and accessories quickly evolved into a custom laser engraving shop for firearm enthusiasts. Thanks to Jeff’s deep technical background, LEO expanded to serve the aerospace, defense, medical, optical, fabrication, and marketing industries, along with retail customers. In 2024, the company rebranded as LEO Engraving to reflect its broader scope. Today, under Jeff’s leadership, LEO continues to provide exceptional engraving and marking services to clients across a wide range of industries.

Jennifer brings over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience from owning an automotive business before joining the LEO team more than six years ago. As Shop General Manager, she excels in client care, project management, graphic design, and is a skilled laser operator. Having called Tucson home for over three decades, Jennifer has a deep appreciation for the desert Southwest. Outside of work, she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, golfing, traveling, and creating awesome art in her home studio. She has a grown son who also calls Tucson home and shares her home with her Aussie, Alice.

As a dedicated Production Engraver at LEO Engraving, Shelly ensures client parts are processed efficiently while upholding the highest quality standards. Her keen attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines make her an invaluable team member. Prior to joining LEO nearly a decade ago, Shelly spent 26 years at a Tucson-based military nametag company, outfitting military units worldwide, police departments, and various organizations requiring uniform nametags and embroidered patches. Originally from Washington state, Shelly and her husband, Tony, have called Tucson home for over 36 years. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and motorcycle riding, and cherishes caring for her cats and dog.
